I am using WordPress Newstone Theme. I have different widgets showing on different pages. When I create Child theme, they all end up on the pages. How do I get rid of this? THis is a fairly old theme but I like its simplicity. How do I know if it even supports a child theme?
Hi,
Please, contact the theme author how to do that.
Our plugin doesn’t assume or block any of the child theme’s functionality.

Ok. May be so old I can’t find anyone to contact, but that’s on me. Still, should Orbius Child themes duplicate all the widgets onto one page?
It depends.
I guess settings are saved in different places (or under different names) that’s why the child theme is not copying the widgets of the parent theme.
That might be a good idea to look into in the near feature.
