Hi,
Just installed Orbisius Child Theme Creator and then when immediately to create my first child theme. The process failed with the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_themes() in /home/users/uks49376/html/crispengineering.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/orbisius-child-theme-creator.php on line 826
Any thoughts on how I can fix this please?
I’m currently running WordPress v3.3.1 and am hoping to update to v4.1 but wanted to first create a child theme to avoid losing customisation data. I have a Themeforest theme called Striking which is quite out of date.
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this.
The minimal requirements for the plugin are WordPress v3.4 ( shown on the plugin’s page – https://wordpress.org/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/ ) that’s where wp_get_themes() function is defined.
You can either setup a test site that runs the most recent WordPress and create the child theme OR try our product that allows you to setup a test site in seconds. For more info go to http://qSandbox.com
P.S. I highly recommend that you backup your site and upgrade it ASAP as it’s pretty old and therefore could be easily hacked.
