Hello,
I am unsure on how to create a functions.php file to edit in orbisius child theme. Are there instructions on how to do this? Thanks!
-Kelly
Hi Kelly,
Just before you create the child theme there is a checkbox that you can click and the plugin will create an empty functions.php file.
If you have created a child theme already then you can go in the two Editors and at the end there should be a button called create file. You need to type all lowercase functions.php and then edit the contents.
I’d say plan well what you want to put in that file because if you make a mistake which can result in php error it WILL crash your site and you will have to go in with an FTP client to edit the functions.php file.
Hope this helps.
