I used Orbisius Child Theme Creator successfully except for one problem after activating the child theme:
The menu used to have 6 items; now it has eleven, the correct ones, plus one for each category used in posts. I did not want these in the top menu.
When I visited the Menu page in the dashboard I could not see anything wrong with the setup.
I am using WordPress v. 4.1, and Elegant Themes’ Divi theme v. 2.2, both current.
    How can I fix this?
[It is an active site, so I have to return to the Divi theme until this problem is resolved.]

    Hi Adam,

In ElegantThemes’ control panel there is usually a way to turn off categories from being displayed.
If that doesn’t work do login at your ElegantTheme’s account and ask why this is happening.
