Remove child

Hi,
I’d like to revert to my original theme which had customizations. I deactivated the plugin, if I point to the original theme, will my original theme with changes be in place? The public facing site is okay, but when I preview pages which I’m editing, I can only see the child theme.

Hi Mary,

Our child theme creator plugin in needed in the beginning and also later if you want to edit the files.
It doesn’t block your child theme in any way.

I strongly suggest that you set up a test site and import your existing site there and make the changes to you don’t override something.
When you switch to a theme its settings will load and whatever you had there should show up.
