Theme editor > save refresh error

I have had a few occasions where I have clicked SAVE CHANGES and found my script vanish and an almost empty window with ‘0’ showing appear.

Lucky upon refresh of browser my script re-loads in the window but it is a scary moment where I think I lost my work.

I assume the zero ‘0’ is a return code… would be nice to have a message in its place saying “don’t panic, network glitch reload window to reload your script”.

Version 1.2.6 with WordPress 4.2.2.

Browser I was using was Safari Mac 6.2.6.

Hi Kat,

I am sorry to hear that & thank you for reporting this.
I will need some help to troubleshoot this.

Can you use Google Chrome and press F12 to enable developer tools.
Then try to do the same thing. Next, in the console tab there should be an error.

I am suspecting that another plugin is breaking the JavaScript that Theme editors are using

If you can record a screencast that would be 10,000 times better.
